What do you do to stay connected to Sherman College now? To stay connected I attend
Lyceum every year and I am a ROAR (Reach Out and Recruit) doctor.

Most Memorable Classmates: Robin Pace & Craig Arcamone

Favorite Sherman College Instructor: I loved every single instructor that I had at Sherman!

Favorite Memory: Before Larry the Lion was Sherman’s mascot, my friend Rick Florez ‘04, did a
little digging and found out the original mascot was a unicorn. One time at a student event, he
came dressed as a unicorn and trotted around everyone letting us all know about the history of
the mascot.

Favorite Lyceum Memory: This is a hard question, because I have a lot of favorite memories
from Lyceum. I don’t have a specific memory, but I always enjoy seeing friends and colleagues
year to year coming together for fellowship at such an informative and fun event.

What’s the best improvement you’ve seen at Sherman College? The best improvements to
date are the renovations to the Scallon Building, Student Health Center, as well as building the
Gelardi Student Center.
