As a South Carolina chiropractor, the start of summer is when I usually start acquiring my required 36 hours of continuing education credit to renew my license by September 30. However, in the wake of COVID-19 and other world events, I discovered that obtaining my 18 live-hour requirement is proving to be quite the challenge with the usual seminars cancelled or postponed. Because I’m in a position to do something about that, our team came up with a solution to help everyone in this same situation!

Sherman College of Chiropractic is proud to announce the Sherman CE Summit: A One-Day Virtual Event for chiropractors needing live hours but looking to get them virtually in the comfort of their own home for upcoming license renewal. That’s right! No travel expenses, just 10 live hours to apply to your 2020 license renewal via our virtual platform that is in real-time and allows for presenter interaction.

Speakers for the Sherman CE Summit include Drs. Heidi Haavik, Tamara MacIntyre, Matthew McCoy and more to be announced in the coming weeks. We’ll have topics in research, clinical sciences, risk management, and philosophy to round out your day and apply toward your live-hour requirement for license renewal.

The event will be Saturday, September 12, and the price to attend is $197 for all 10 hours. Additionally, we’ll be announcing live in-person technique seminars and other virtual events next week where you can get the remainder of your live hours at an affordable price!

Times may be uncertain, but when it comes to license renewal amidst the chaos of the world in 2020, we’re here for you!
