Monaco Receives Chiropractic Advocate Award from Sherman College

Chiropractic Advocate Award

Robert Monaco of Mount Pleasant, SC, has received the prestigious Chiropractic Advocate Award from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg. Given at the sole discretion of the president, this award recognizes the leadership of an individual who has demonstrated exemplary efforts in chiropractic advocacy to Sherman College and its students, as well as others in the chiropractic profession.

Monaco is co-founder of The Chiro Speaking Company and InfluenceOlogy. He helps chiropractors attract and retain more patients through doctor reports, “dinner with doc” talks, lunch and learn programs, webinars and health lectures. He has quickly become the go-to speaking coach for the top chiropractic advocates in the industry.

Monaco has been in the business of public speaking for 20 years and has trained and consulted with many, from celebrities to meek and phobia-stricken beginners. His clients include NFL Super Bowl champions, U.S. Navy SEALS, helicopter pilots, teenagers, ironman athletes, executives of large national companies, stay-at-home parents, and Stanford and Harvard graduates. He has also trained Sherman College employees.

Monaco is the author of two books, The 10 Beliefs of Master Influencer and How to Speak With Confidence. “Your ability to speak and influence others is not what others think about you, it’s what YOU think about YOU,” he says. Monaco currently lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Katie, and two children, Sofia and Phoenix.

Sherman College honored alumni, chiropractors, and supporters during its 49th Lyceum, a homecoming and continuing education event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each year and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs. More than 650 people attended this year’s event, held April 28-30.
