Online CE Spotlight: Cliff Tao, DC, DACBR

Cliff Tao CE Spotlight

Dr. Cliff Tao owns and operates a nationwide chiropractic radiology consultation practice in Orange County, California. In addition to his practice, Dr. Tao is also a postgraduate speaker and continuing education provider on the topic of radiology.

We asked Dr. Tao some questions about his CE content and his passion for the chiropractic profession.

Q: What motivates you to provide CE content for the profession?

A: I’ve always been a strong believer in lifelong education! My goal is to help chiropractors and to help their patients and ultimately our profession, [by helping them] evaluate x-rays and other diagnostic imaging.

Q: What do you hope to have D.C.s achieve by taking your courses?

A: Chiropractors should be able to achieve not only greater confidence and certainty, but greater skill in imaging interpretation through my courses. That should translate into better patient outcomes, better patient retention, better practices, and allow our profession to thrive a little more.

Q: Who inspires you professionally?

A: I have many that inspire me in their own ways. In no specific order, and not limited to Dr. Terry Yochum, Dr. Edwin Cordero, Dr. John Minardi, Dr. Amy Haas, Dr. Heidi Haavik, Dr. Scott Rosa, Dr. William Morgan, and Dr. Dan Murphy.

Q: How do you recharge, or do you have any tips on maintaining longevity in this profession:

A: I believe everyone should have at least a couple of passions. I love our chiropractic profession, but I also love other things including God, my family, and my hobbies. I love the outdoors, especially downhill skiing in the wintertime, and mountain biking or hiking in the summer.

Q: Where do you see the profession going in the future?

A: I believe the future is very bright for chiropractic. We have a very powerful tool, the adjustment, that is showing more and more validation year after year.

Q: What is your favorite social media platform? How can people follow/connect with you?

A: If I had to pick one, I would pick Facebook. I can also be reached on LinkedIn or on my website.
