SC School for the Deaf and the Blind Award Sherman College of Chiropractic with the Hearts & Hands.

Sherman College of Chiropractic was recently honored with the Hands Award from the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind (SCSDB) during their annual Awards Day celebration. This prestigious award is given to individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to the SCSDB, either through charitable donations or through efforts that improve the programs and facilities on the Spartanburg campus. Sherman College was recognized specifically for its consistent support through two impactful initiatives: the back-to-school drive each August and the Angel Tree program each December. Both programs are driven by the generosity and commitment of Sherman’s students, faculty, and staff, who continually seek to make a meaningful difference in the lives of SCSDB students and their families.

The award was proudly accepted on behalf of Sherman College by Dean of Clinics Brian Dooley, D.C., A.C.P., D.Ph.CS, and Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences and Chiropractic Health Center Case Doctor Tara Madden, D.C., C.A.C.C.P. Their presence at the ceremony underscored Sherman’s deep commitment not only to chiropractic education but also to community service and outreach.

The award was presented by SCSDB President Jolene L. Madison and SCSDB Foundation Executive Director Sam Hook, who expressed their sincere gratitude for Sherman College’s ongoing support.
