Sherman College Students Awarded Prestigious Chiropractic Scholarships

Sherman College of Chiropractic is proud to celebrate the achievements of students Kialine Denis and Sophie Sherman, who were recently awarded scholarships to support their journey toward becoming doctors of chiropractic.

Kialine Denis, a fifth-quarter student, was honored with the Eula Sherman Scholarship, presented by Altrusa International, Inc. of Spartanburg. Altrusa is a community-focused volunteer service organization committed to improving education across Spartanburg County. The scholarship is named in memory of Mrs. Eula Sherman, a founding member of the Spartanburg chapter, and is specifically designed to assist non-traditional students who are residents of Spartanburg County and enrolled in accredited institutions of higher learning. Kialine’s dedication to her studies and her strong connection to the local community made her an outstanding candidate for this meaningful award.

Sophie Sherman, a 10th-quarter student, was selected to receive a scholarship from the World Congress of Women Chiropractors (WCWC). This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, responsibility, and service within their communities. WCWC is an international professional organization that supports and empowers women in the chiropractic field. Their scholarships aim to uplift and encourage the next generation of female chiropractors who are already making a difference through service and dedication to the profession.

These recognitions highlight the commitment, character, and academic excellence of Sherman College students. Kialine and Sophie are shining examples of the future of chiropractic—compassionate, driven, and community-minded. We are proud to see them honored for their hard work and inspired to continue making a positive impact in the world of health care.
