Sherman welcomes prospective students who want to learn more about the field and the college
One of the best ways to decide if a college is right for you is to visit the campus. During a campus visit, you will usually meet staff members, admissions and financial aid representatives, and, most importantly, a current student ambassador, who will provide insight during your campus tour.
Recent research from InsideHigherEd.com shows yet another benefit to campus visits: students who show “demonstrated interest” in a college by making an official campus visit have an advantage in the admissions process over students who don’t visit.
At Sherman College, we are always excited to welcome future students who want to continue exploring their chiropractic interests and who want to prepare, connect, and take the next steps in their chiropractic journey! We are here to help you find your place and start your chiropractic career.
During your visit to Sherman College’s campus in beautiful Spartanburg, SC, you can expect to:
- Speak with our President, Dr. Edwin Cordero, to learn about the curriculum, hear why Sherman is the best chiropractic school for your education, and have your questions about chiropractic and Sherman answered directly from our leader.
- Meet with an admissions counselor to go over transcript findings, learn about requirements, get questions answered about prerequisites, and find out more about housing.
- Meet with a financial aid representative to go over the cost of tuition, living expenses, and the financial aid process.
- Take a tour of the campus, during which you will see our anatomy lab, visit our brand new student center, explore the on-campus clinic that will become your first practice, see inside the classrooms, experience what it is like to be on campus, and learn about the history of the college.
We do offer virtual visits if your schedule is booked, but here’s why visiting in person gives you an edge:
- You will see what traveling to and from the college is like.
- You can explore Spartanburg and the surrounding areas.
- You will appreciate the beautiful mountains that surround the Upstate area.
- You can check out the restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream spots downtown.
- You will experience firsthand the strong community atmosphere at Sherman College.
