A Georgetown University BA graduate, Mr. Franco began his career as a Consulting Actuary with Kwasha Lipton for sixteen years, assisting large corporations in designing, funding, and administering their pensions and other employee benefit plans. He was also certified to sign off on pension plan filings with the IRS and Department of Labor. As a Senior Portfolio Manager at AllianceBernstein, Mr. Franco spent 25 years managing multi-billion dollar assets and supporting other lead portfolio managers for all global and international value products. Mr. Franco retired in December 2023, and wants to use his skills meaningfully to support the board’s duties to provide overall fiscal stability to Sherman College.
When Mr. Franco isn’t volunteering with Sherman’s Board of Trustees, he can be found playing golf or spending time with his fur baby, Sophie.
