Chiropractic College Visit: Experience Showcase Sherman Weekend
Choosing where to pursue your chiropractic education is about more than comparing courses, requirements, or campus photos. A chiropractic college visit gives you the opportunity to experience the philosophy, people, learning environment, and community that will shape your years as a student and your development as a future chiropractor.
That is the purpose of Showcase Sherman Weekend. This immersive experience invites prospective students to step onto the Sherman College campus, meet the people who make up the Sherman community, explore chiropractic education firsthand, and begin asking an important question: Can I see myself here?
If you are exploring chiropractic as a career—or comparing chiropractic colleges—Showcase Sherman can help turn what you have researched online into something you can experience for yourself.
What Can You Experience During a Chiropractic College Visit?
There is a difference between reading about chiropractic education and being present where students are learning it.
At Showcase Sherman, you have opportunities for hands-on learning with faculty, an immersive campus tour, interaction with students and college leaders, conversations with alumni, financial aid planning, business insights, and exploration of areas such as sports, pediatric, and upper cervical chiropractic.
During the summer Showcase experience, visitors participated in a palpation session, explored chiropractic history and philosophy, learned about Sherman’s academic program, and experienced student life across campus.
Experience Chiropractic Learning Firsthand
One of the highlights of Showcase is the hands-on palpation experience. You and your visitors work alongside knowledgeable faculty and student ambassadors while beginning to understand concepts you may previously have encountered only through research.
As one student ambassador explained, “Visitors have an opportunity to begin learning how to identify spinal landmarks and develop the sensitivity of their hands. It is an introduction to the intentional observation, analysis, and hands-on learning that become part of a chiropractic student’s education.”
At Sherman College, that education is grounded in a clear purpose: exceptional preparation for the location, analysis, and adjustment of vertebral subluxation. Showcase Sherman gives prospective students an early look at what it means to pursue that purpose through focused study and hands-on preparation.
What Does Showcase Sherman Reveal About Campus Life?
Your chiropractic education will involve many hours of studying and developing your skills, but the people beside you matter too.
Showcase Sherman gives visitors opportunities to meet current students, student ambassadors, faculty, staff, and other prospective students. Visitors can also learn about student clubs and begin discovering the communities and interests they could become part of as Sherman students.
That sense of connection comes through clearly in the summer Showcase video. One student describes Sherman as a welcoming, family-like environment with professors and staff who want students to succeed. Another shares a simple but meaningful thought: when they come to Sherman, they feel that they belong.
You cannot fully understand a campus culture through a website. You need to walk the halls, sit in the learning spaces, talk with students, and experience the environment for yourself.

What Questions Can You Answer at Showcase Sherman?
A chiropractic college visit should help you move forward with greater clarity, not simply give you more information to sort through later.
Showcase Sherman is designed to give prospective students access to the people who can help answer questions about the educational experience and the path ahead.
You may come wanting to learn more about:
- Sherman’s chiropractic philosophy and educational focus
- The Doctor of Chiropractic curriculum
- Hands-on learning and chiropractic technique
- Student clubs and campus community
- Financial aid and planning for chiropractic college
- Business preparation for future chiropractors
- Life as a Sherman student
- The transition from student to Doctor of Chiropractic
A 2026 Showcase attendee summed up the experience simply: “It was a great weekend and I got so many of my questions answered!”
That is an important part of visiting a college. The goal is not simply to see more, it is to understand more.
Why Does Sherman’s Chiropractic Philosophy Matter When Choosing a College?
Not every chiropractic educational experience is identical. Prospective students should understand the philosophy and purpose that guide the institution they are considering.
Sherman College is dedicated to straight chiropractic and to preparing students for the location, analysis, and adjustment of vertebral subluxation. That focus gives direction to the way chiropractic is taught and helps students develop a clear understanding of the unique role of the chiropractor.
Showcase allows you to encounter that philosophy in context. You can hear it discussed by faculty, observe how it connects with hands-on learning, and talk with students who are developing their own understanding of what it means to become a chiropractor.
For someone considering a lifetime in chiropractic, understanding the why behind the education is just as important as understanding the what.

See Sherman for Yourself
Research can tell you a great deal about chiropractic college. A visit can help you understand how that information feels when it becomes real.
You can meet the faculty who teach the material. You can talk with students already living the experience. You can begin exploring the art, science, and philosophy of chiropractic firsthand. Most importantly, you can consider whether Sherman is the place where you want to prepare to serve others through chiropractic and help Adjust the World for a Better Future.
As Giulio Falcone, one of the student ambassadors, puts it in the 2026 Summer Showcase video:
“If you guys really want to know what Sherman is really about, I would really recommend you to come to Showcase.”
If chiropractic is becoming part of the future you envision, Showcase Sherman Weekend is an opportunity to explore that possibility in person.
