Sherman students talk chiropractic in between classes.

At Sherman, our passion for chiropractic goes well beyond the classroom. Not only do we have a chiropractic museum, research lab, and clinic right on our campus, but we also host a whole range of chiropractic clubs!

Some students might feel shy about joining a club at college, but at Sherman, our friendly atmosphere puts students at ease. They feel like they’re part of a family, and they get to develop new friendships and make new contacts while completing their chiropractic education.

So, if you want to meet new people, share your passion for chiropractic, and practice new techniques, then join the club! We have plenty to choose.

Practice Chiropractic Techniques in One of Our Many Technique Clubs

There are many chiropractic techniques that our students learn as they complete their chiropractic education. From Diversified Technique to Gonstead to Palmer Toggle Recoil, our students graduate with the knowledge they need to succeed in the field of chiropractic.

For extra practice outside of the classroom, our students can join Sherman clubs like Activator Methods, and enhance the classroom knowledge they already have on instrument adjusting. Or they could get in-depth knowledge and practice in Gonstead technique.

There are even clubs that focus on working with a specialized group. Students can join a club like Little Spines that works on adjusting techniques for children and tips for sharing the benefits of chiropractic with children. In addition, the Animal Chiropractic club concentrates on animal care and offers demonstrations with dogs and horses.

Expand Your National and International Network by Joining a Chiropractic Organization

Whether you want to work at a clinic other chiropractic practitioners or open your own practice, developing a strong network in the profession is important. At Sherman, you don’t have to wait until after school to start making connections!

We have several chiropractic organizations that have meetings right on campus. From the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations to the Student American Black Chiropractic Association, you can join many chiropractic organizations while you study at your chiropractic college.

In addition to joining a local organization, Sherman students can also further deepen their knowledge of chiropractic philosophy if they join our New Beginnings Philosophy club. Clubs like AMPED offer advantages like mentoring and business preparedness.

Explore Special Interest Groups and Make a Difference

Want to combine your Christian faith with chiropractic? Enjoy sports and physical activities? Want to discuss issues that impact women in the field? There are plenty of clubs on campus where you can join others who share your passions. Whether you want to explore your interests in health, religion, athletics, or all of them at once, there’s a place at Sherman for you.

Each group can help you learn how to integrate your personal beliefs and style into your own chiropractic career. After all, you want your practice to feel like it reflects you!

Current organizations at Sherman College include Activator, AMPED, Animal Adjusting, Applied Kinesiology, Athletic, Christian Chiropractic, Hispanic Club, International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations, Gonstead, League of Chiropractic Women, Little Spines, Network Spinal Analysis, Palpation, Pierce, Student American Black Chiropractic Association, Torque Release, Upper Cervical, and the World Congress of Chiropractic Students.
