Randi Cohen of Boca Raton, FL, and Boiling Springs, SC, has been presented with Sherman Advocate Award by Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. The Sherman Advocate Award is presented at the discretion of the president and therefore not awarded every year. This award was created to recognize the leadership of an individual who has demonstrated exemplary efforts in chiropractic advocacy to Sherman College, its students, and others in the chiropractic profession.

“Our most sincere appreciation goes to Randi Cohen for her heartfelt advocacy of Sherman College,” said Sherman President Edwin Cordero, D.C. “Randi does everything in her power to help others, particularly our students, succeed.”

A devoted wife and mother, Randi has been an active supporter of principled chiropractic for more than five decades. When her husband, Neil Cohen, D.C., took on an executive leadership role at Sherman College in 2014, Randi “adopted” Sherman College of Chiropractic and many its students, inviting them into her home and her family.

“Randi has a caring heart, and she truly considers it a blessing to serve Sherman College and to advocate for all of our wonderful students,” said Senior Vice President for Presidential Affairs Neil Cohen D.C.

Sherman College named its 2019 award recipients in May as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each spring in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs; this year approximately 700 were in attendance.
