Sherman Connect Calls Ending

The Sherman Connect program will conclude after its final two calls on April 2 and April 30. Launched in 2012 by Daniel Knowles, D.C., ’96, and the college’s Board of Trustees, the program served as a leadership resource for students, alumni, and chiropractors.

Each Monday evening, the Board hosted guest speakers who shared insights on the philosophy, science, and art of chiropractic, as well as strategies for applying them successfully in practice.

“These calls gave us a great opportunity to bring our students, alumni, and other like-minded doctors of chiropractic together,” said Sherman President Edwin Cordero, D.C. “We extend a heartfelt thanks to our Board for their dedication in hosting calls and selecting speakers over the past six years.”

Declining participation and shifting priorities for the Board of Trustees and the Office of Institutional Advancement led the college to reevaluate the program. As Sherman College grows, these groups are focusing on fundraising, relationship development, and community outreach. New programs aligned with the college’s vision and strategic goals will be considered moving forward.

Archived calls from 2017 and 2018 are available for replay anytime on the Sherman College website: Sherman Connect Archive.
