About Our Practice

We’re a family-centered, community-rooted practice with a long history of service in Ponoka. While our version of the practice opened in August 2021, our current location has been home to a chiropractic office for over 40 years. Our practice continues to grow, and we’re excited to welcome a Chiropractor who shares our commitment to excellence, family wellness, and service.
As our practice continues to grow, we’re excited to share that a new, custom-built practice space is coming in Summer 2026!

Our Team & Systems
Currently one full-time doctor (owner) with one additional doctor practicing one full day per week
Supported currently by three Chiropractic Care Coordinators (CAs) and a Practice Manager/Owner, all fully trained in INSiGHT scanning, range of motion testing, and other clinical tech systems
We utilize INSiGHT Scanning Technology and refer for radiographic imaging to our local area hospital and private radiology clinics
We are connected to Netcare for collaborative and informed care
A partially open-plan family centred space with dedicated kids’ play zones, feeding spots, and stocked change table

About The Opportunity:

Join Ponoka Family Chiropractic — a neurologically focused, perinatal, pediatric, and family practice located in the heart of rural Central Alberta. We’re on a mission to help individuals and families regulate, adapt, and thrive naturally through neurologically focused chiropractic care. We’re currently seeking a Chiropractor for a part-time contractor role, with the opportunity to grow into full-time contractor role as the right fit joins our team.

* Education, Mentorship and leadership opportunities alongside experienced doctors (8–10 years in practice)
* Competitive percentage-based compensation (based on experience)
* Full-time administrative and CA support
* Use of CLA INSiGHT scanning technology -Established, efficient check and adjust systems for all doctors
* Collaborative, service-driven doctor environment
* Referrals for out-of-scope services
* Purpose-driven, mission-aligned workplace
* Must be able to actively participate in the team and office mission
* Would prefer the candidate to live within approximately 30–45 minutes of the Practice in Ponoka; but open to conversation outside of this for the right fit

Who We’re Looking For:
* Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited college
* Active license and good standing with the Chiropractic College of Alberta (CCOA) -Required to maintain current valid professional liability (malpractice) insurance in good standing
* Competency in communication and manual adjusting
* Dedication to exceptional patient care and community service
* Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
* Self-motivated, dependable, and purpose-driven
* Humble, team-oriented, motivated, and heart and service-centered Chiropractor
* Passionate about nervous-system-focused chiropractic and family wellness
* Skilled in patient/table talk communication, education, and committed to excellence in care
* Excited to serve infants, children, pregnant and postpartum moms, and families of a rural Alberta community
* Open minded to mentorship and personal/professional growth
* Bonus qualifications (assets, not required): Additional certifications such as Webster Technique, PX Docs, or equivalent pediatric/perinatal training(s) are considered an asset but are not required
* Strong understanding of chiropractic neurology and philosophy
