Boulder, CO, chiropractors Daniel and Richelle Knowles, D.C.s, have been honored with the Distinguished Service Award from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC. This award is given to Sherman graduates who have distinguished themselves with service to the community, the profession, and Sherman College.

“Drs. Danny and Richelle Knowles have distinguished themselves in their service and sharing of chiropractic art, science, philosophy and philanthropy to further the profession and Sherman College,” said Sherman President Edwin Cordero, D.C.

Drs. Daniel and Richelle Knowles are Sherman College alumni, having graduated in 1996 and 1999. They are co-founders of Network Family Wellness Center, Mile High Chiropractic Movement, and Lifetime Wellness Practice.

Dr. Daniel Knowles recently completed two full terms (eight years) on the Sherman College Board of Trustees, having served during a crucial time of growth at the college. He spearheaded and founded the Sherman Connect program and coordinated it for seven years; he also served as nominations committee chair, and in that time a number of valuable trustees were brought on to serve the college. He is an ardent supporter of Sherman College’s International Research and Philosophy Symposium, is a published researcher and he serves as international operations developer at EpiEnergetics. He is active in the profession, presenting at seminars across the country and maintaining membership in several professional organizations, including the Colorado Chiropractic Association, the Colorado Chiropractic Wellness Alliance, the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations, the World Chiropractic Alliance and the Association for Network Care.

Dr. Richelle Knowles was recently appointed to the board of trustees at Sherman College, and she also serves on the Clinical Advisory Board for the Australian Spinal Research Foundation. She is a published researcher and is an active member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association, the League of Chiropractic Women and the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations, where she currently serves on the board. She also serves as an instructor for EpiEnergetics, teaching both basic and advanced level courses in Network Spinal both nationally and internationally.

Danny and Richelle are not only dedicated chiropractors, they are also devoted parents and enjoy spending time together with two children, Daniel and Anika.

Sherman College named its 2019 award recipients in May as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each spring in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs; this year approximately 700 were in attendance.
