From Spartanburg

(Downtown Spartanburg)

From downtown Spartanburg, take Pine Street (Hwy. 176/I-585) North toward Inman. After crossing over both Interstate 85s (business and bypass), go about a mile to Springfield Road. Turn right onto Springfield Road. There is a gas station on the corner, and First Baptist Church North Spartanburg is on the other corner.

Sherman College is about 1½ miles on the right. The first entrance is for all campus visitors. Turn right into the entrance and continue toward the visitor spaces in front of the Gelardi Student Center. Go the entrance of the Student Center and to the reception desk straight ahead.

From the North

(Charlotte and CLT Airport)

I-85 South toward Greenville. Take exit #72. Turn right onto Route 176 toward Inman. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Springfield Road. Sherman College is about 1½ miles on the right.

From the South

(Atlanta and GSP Airport)

I-85 North, toward Charlotte. Take exit #72. Turn left onto Route 176 toward Inman. At the first traffic light after you cross the bridge, turn right onto Springfield Road. Sherman College is about 1½ miles on the right.

From the East

(Charleston)

I-26 West toward Asheville. Exit onto I-85 North toward Charlotte. Take exit #72. Turn left onto Route 176 toward Inman. At the first traffic light, turn right onto Springfield Road. Sherman College is about 1½ miles on the right.

From the West

(Asheville and AVL Airport)

I-26 East toward Spartanburg. Take exit #15 for Route 176 East to Inman. Take a right off the exit ramp toward Spartanburg. Go to third traffic light. Turn left onto Springfield Road. Sherman College is about 1½ miles on the right.

AVL 60 minutes from the Asheville Regional Airport in Asheville, NC, access to I-26 East.
