Eagle River, AK, chiropractor Barbara Eaton, D.C., has been named Chiropractor of the Year by Sherman College of Chiropractic. The Chiropractor of the Year Award is an honor bestowed upon doctors who have, through their service, given extraordinary time and effort to advance Sherman College and the principled chiropractic profession.

“Dr. Eaton is dedicated to our profession, her colleagues, her patients and her clients,” said Sherman College President Edwin Cordero, D.C. “She is a sought-after success coach and shares her clients’ relentless pursuit of serving their respective communities at the highest level.”

Graduating from Logan College in 1997, and opening her practice in 1998, Dr. Eaton was delivering nearly 200 office visits per week in less than 90 days of opening her first office. The momentum she created continued to escalate, leading her to be an early success in the chiropractic profession in the state of Michigan.

Dr. Eaton now is well known for her contagious energy and unquenchable thirst for helping chiropractors take massive action. For the last 20 years, she has served as a confidant, success coach and a trusted friend to the chiropractors who partner with her to enhance their practices and increase their impact.

Dr. Eaton is creator of the award-winning 56-Day Boot Camp program and founder of the Women’s Chiropractic Leadership Summit. She says she desires to continuously pursue and share the knowledge she has gained working as a successful chiropractic entrepreneur.

Sherman College named its 2019 award recipients in May as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each spring in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events and other programs; this year approximately 700 were in attendance.
