Clubs Represent a Variety of Interests at Sherman College
Once you’re enrolled as a student at Sherman College of Chiropractic, you have the opportunity to get involved in the campus community in several different ways. One great way to get involved is to participate in the clubs we offer.
No matter your interests, we have clubs covering many different areas! You can even start a club if there’s a topic or area of interest that you’re passionate about that we don’t already have on campus. Our clubs may change from quarter to quarter, depending on our students’ needs and interests, but you can find our most recent club brochure here.
Joining a club at chiropractic college is entirely your choice. Some students prefer to get involved in different ways, while others enjoy participating in various clubs. You can join as many clubs as you’d like at no cost, and there’s no obligation once you join. Some clubs offer certifications, which may require purchasing learning materials and attending seminars; these usually involve additional commitment. These certifications are optional, and you can participate in a club without pursuing certification.
Each club offers different benefits; however, most clubs will host seminars, calls with doctors, extra practice with techniques, and more! Most of our clubs meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. (lunch), so that students are available to attend.
At Sherman College of Chiropractic, our students are dedicated to academic excellence. “Director for Student Affairs Ronitra Owens says, “We recognize, however, that the rigor of our program must be balanced. Through our student clubs and extracurricular activities, we offer meaningful outlets for engagement, leadership, and personal growth. These experiences not only enrich the student journey but also help develop well-rounded chiropractors whose commitment to the philosophy, science, and art of chiropractic shines through in their work and service to the profession.
Student Affairs even hosts a Club Day each quarter to help students explore the various opportunities available. So, once you join us on campus, be sure to see which clubs interest you! You’re likely to meet great friends and learn a lot. Until then, you can find out more about enrolling at Sherman College and plan your next steps.
