Spartanburg, SC, chiropractor and educator Christine Theodossis, D.C., DCCJP, has been honored with the Spirit of Sherman College Award from her alma mater, Sherman College of Chiropractic, in Spartanburg, SC. The Spirit of Sherman College Award is presented to Sherman graduates who exemplify the true spirit of Sherman College in their professional lives.

A 2010 Sherman graduate and a native of Asheville, NC, Dr. Theodossis practiced in Canton, NC, prior to joining Sherman College in June 2013 as an assistant professor, and she has taught 39 courses since that time.

Board certified in Chiropractic Orthospinology, Dr. Theodossis recently earned the Diplomate of Chiropractic Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP), and she serves as the director of the board for the ICA Council on Upper Cervical Care. She previously served as vice president of education for the Asheville Toastmasters Club while practicing in that area.

“Students appreciate and respond to her knowledge, skills, and teaching style, often commenting that she genuinely cares about helping them become the best chiropractors they can be,” said Sherman College President Edwin Cordero, D.C. “She puts her heart and soul into knowing her students.”

Sherman College named its 2018 award recipients May 3-5 as part of Lyceum, an annual continuing education and homecoming event attended by hundreds of chiropractors and students throughout the U.S. and internationally. Lyceum is held each spring in Spartanburg, SC, and involves three days of seminars, special events, and other programs; this year more than 700 were in attendance.
