Komarek & Sullwold Horse & Dog Adjusting Seminar Supports Sherman College

The popular animal adjusting seminar led by Drs. Jay Komarek and Petra Sullwold returns to Sherman College of Chiropractic on October 17, 2015. The full-day Horse and Dog Chiropractic Seminar will be held on the college’s campus at 2020 Springfield Road in Spartanburg, SC, and all proceeds from the affordably-priced event will benefit the Sherman College Student Health Center Renovation.

“We are excited to return to Sherman College to present this program and to donate proceeds to support student learning at the college’s Chiropractic Health Center,” Komarek said.

The program provides the following:

  • Biomechanics and structure of the canine and equine spine
  • A deeper understanding into the components and effects of the animal subluxation
  • Hands on learning in regards to adjusting both dogs and horses

Jay Komarek with horseKomarek has been in family practice for 38 years, taking care of thousands of clients, including human, canine and equine. He has been featured on The Today Show for the work he has done in chiropractic and has an infinite passion for people and animals. His love for humanity radiates during his seminars, leaving a deep impression and desire to carry it forward.

Petra Sullwold with horseSullwold grew up in Austria and has been around horses all her life. After spending 12 years as an equine massage therapist, Petra made the switch to chiropractic after seeing how adjustments benefit animals. In addition to her full-time animal practice, she also co-owns an upper cervical practice in Durango, CO.

For more information and to register, go to http://www.cvent.com/d/qrq5bf. Cost to attend is $159 for doctors of chiropractic and $99 for students.
